SPECIAL
SESSION OF THE IDAHO TRANSPORTATION BOARD January 18, 2013 Idaho
Transportation Board Chairman Jerry Whitehead called a special session of the
Idaho Transportation Board at 3:05 PM on Friday, January 18, 2013. The
following principals were present at the Idaho Transportation Department in
Boise, Idaho: Jerry Whitehead, Chairman Julie DeLorenzo, Member – District 3 Larry Allen, Deputy Attorney General Scott
Stokes, Chief Deputy Sue S. Higgins, Executive Assistant
and Secretary to the Board The
following participated via teleconference: Jim Coleman, Vice Chairman –
District 1 Janice B. Vassar, Member – District
2 Jim Kempton, Member – District 4 Dwight Horsch, Member – District 5 Lee Gagner, Member – District 6 Brian W. Ness, Director Executive Session on Legal Issues.
Member DeLorenzo made a motion to meet in executive session at 3:05 PM to
discuss legal issues as authorized in Idaho Code Section 67-2345(f). Member Horsch
seconded the motion and it passed 6-0 by individual roll call vote. A discussion was held on legal
matters. The Board came out of executive session at 4:00 PM. No
final actions or decisions were made. New Business.
Member Gagner made a motion to recommend to the Department of Administration,
Division of Purchasing, to terminate the contract with 3M for the Division of
Motor Vehicles’ modernization project. Member Vassar seconded the motion and it
passed unanimously WHEREUPON the special session of the
