Project: McKercher Blvd. to Alturas Dr. South

The McKercher Boulevard to Alturas Driver South section of Idaho 75 will be among the second stage of design for the Timmerman to Ketchum corridor as directed in the Final Environmental Impact Statement completed in 2008. The project limits of this project begins at the north end of Hailey at McKercher Boulevard (northern most traffic signal) and terminates at Alturas Drive South (north of Ohio Gulch Road) – a section approximately 4.2 miles in length.

The goal of the project will be for ITD to complete design work in preparation for construction. Funding is not currently available for construction. The design work will follow the concept as determine by the approved Environmental Impact Statement. Development activities will include survey plans, coordination with utilities, contact adjacent property owners and how these projects may affect their interests, and coordinate with local governments and agencies. Much of the work will follow the design standards currently being developed for the Timber Way to Big Wood River Bridge project.
