MOBILITY IDAHO 2008 CONFERENCE

On April 29, 2008 through May 1, 2008
nearly 90 transportation partners from across Idaho and from Washington,
Montana, and Alaska, attended Mobility Idaho 2008 at the Doubletree Inn in
Boise, Idaho.
This conference - collectively sponsored by the
Idaho Transportation Department Division of Public Transportation, the Public
Transportation Advisory Council to the ITD Board, the Community
Transportation Association of Idaho, and the Interagency Working Group for
Transportation Systems - focused on the following topics:

Understanding how a Medicaid Brokerage System in
Idaho will impact transportation services in your area;

Seeing what technology improvements are in store
for Idaho;

Knowing who is involved in public transportation
statewide and discover how we are all connected;

Facing and understanding the fear of change and
coordination;

Learning about how you can take a leadership role
in building a sustainable public transportation network starting in your own
community; and

Seeing and participating in the future vision for
public transportation in Idaho in the future.
