Why it Matters
Rehabilitation of eight bridge decks on Interstate 90, from the Washington State Line to Coeur d’Alene, was completed to improve safety and prolong the life of the structures. Repairing the decks will prevent deterioration of the bridges and will reduce maintenance costs.
Worn and rough concrete bridge decks were removed and replaced on eight structures.
The bridge structures are located at the following I-90 mileposts:
Stateline Spokane River Bridge, two decks (milepost 0.0)
Pleasant View Interchange, two decks (milepost 2.08)
BNRR, Post Falls Overpass (milepost 4.46)
Post Falls Eastbound Interchange Off-ramp (milepost 4.48)
Spokane Street Interchange, two decks (milepost 4.63)
