Idaho's Strategic Highway Safety Plan

Idaho's Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) is a statewide safety plan that provides a comprehensive framework for programs and projects intended to reduce highway fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads. The original plan, developed in 2006, is being updated at this time. The new SHSP will be available by March 2010. On Nov 4, 2009, the Idaho Transportation Department hosted the SHSP Workshop in Boise. This was an all-day event with over 100 people from across the state participating in the development of the new SHSP. You will find here the presentations made at the workshop along with some of the planning documents.
