Idaho 21, High Bridge

Key Number: 8669

Project Description: This project will rehabilitate the existing bridge including deck, joints, replace the bridge parapet and railing, perform work on the foundation, and other repairs.

Construction Timeframe: This project began in mid-December, 2010 and is expected to be completed in 2012.

Traffic Impacts: Traffic control on this project will consist of a lane closure across the bridge with alternating traffic. Traffic will be controlled by temporary signals placed on either side the bridge. Throughout the year, intermittent lane closures will be in place. During rehabilitation of the bridge deck and replacement of the parapet traffic will be restricted to one lane across the bridge for protracted periods of time. These activities are weather dependent and will likely be performed during the more temperate times of the year.

Traffic Impacts: The bridge is in a one-lane configuration using a traffic signal. Crews anticipate working a Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule.
