Project: Big Wood River Bridge to Elkhorn Road

The Big Wood River Bridge to Elkhorn Road section of Idaho 75 will be among the second stage of design for the Timmerman to Ketchum corridor as directed in the Final Environmental Impact Statement completed in 2008. The project limit of this project begins at the Big Wood River Bridge near Hospital Drive and terminates at Elkhorn Road – a section approximately .68 miles in length. The project will include the Big Wood River Bridge and any environmental impacts associated with its design.

The goal of the project will be for ITD to complete design work in preparation for construction. Funding is not currently available for construction. The design work will follow the concept as determine by the approved Environmental Impact Statement. Development activities will include survey plans, coordination with utilities, contact adjacent property owners and how these projects may affect their interests, and coordinate with local governments and agencies. Much of the work will follow the design standards currently being developed for the Timber Way to Big Wood River Bridge project.
