ITD Idaho 16, U.S. 20/26 to Idaho 44

Project Number: A011(236) Description
The new highway will provide a north-south connection in the Treasure Valley between US-20/26 (Chinden Blvd) and SH-44 (State St). It is the first step toward extending Idaho 16 south from its intersection with Idaho 44 to connect with I-84.
Background
An environmental study began in 2006 to locate the new extension of Idaho 16. The study produced an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) that identifies the alignment. Click here to learn more about this study. Schedule and Funding
