Training and Support

Idaho schools and communities that participate in Safe Routes to School have access to the following resources from the Idaho Transportation Department.

Training Sessions

For the FY12 grant cycle one 2.5 hour webinar training will be offered on December 2, at 1:30 PM. Details of how to register for the webinar will be available at this link in the near future. Applicants sending FY12 Letters of Intent to Apply will be contacted directly with details of how to register. Slides and handouts from previous trainings are available on the Tools page.

Promotional Materials

Several items are in stock at the Idaho Safe Routes to School Office for prizes and incentives. The 2008-2009 incentives include pedometers, bandanas, wristbands, Idaho program brochures, "8 Great Reasons to Walk" posters, LED lights and backpack reflectors. Items are available to schools and communities at no charge.
