Adding turn lanes and illumination at the intersection of US-95 and Kootenai Trail Road will make travel safer.

Overview

To enhance safety and traffic flow, new lighting and dedicated left turn lanes will be added at the intersection of U.S. Highway 95 and Kootenai Trail Road.

These upgrades are designed to improve visibility, reduce the risk of crashes, and provide safer access for drivers turning onto or off of the highway.

These improvements aim to make the drive smoother and more predictable—especially at night or during peak travel times.

Construction planned for 2030

Timeline

  • 2030

    Construction will begin on this project in 2030.

  • Late 2030

    Construction will be completed in a single year, with completion expected by winter of 2030.
