Overview
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) and J-U-B Engineers, Inc. have completed the preliminary design for the US-30 Business Loop, Parke Avenue to Airport Road project, which will include:

- New pavement throughout the corridor.

- ADA accessible pedestrian curb ramps at each intersection.

- Updates to the existing traffic signals to improve traffic flow on U S-30.
Parke Ave to Airport Road
The Idaho Transportation Department and J-U-B Engineers, Inc. have completed the preliminary design for the US-30 Business Loop, Parke Avenue to Airport Road project, which will include:
- New pavement throughout the corridor.
- ADA accessible pedestrian curb ramps at each intersection.
- Updates to the existing traffic signals to improve traffic flow on U S-30.
- The project will also include the removal of unused or underutilized approaches (driveways) along the project corridor. Removal of unnecessary approaches will reduce the total number of traffic conflict points which will increase safety for all users.
- Improvements to the Overland Rd. intersection will take place as part of a separate project managed by Idaho Power.
- Existing traffic signals will be replaced with two-way stop signs on Oakley Ave., Albion Ave., and Normal Ave.
- Existing traffic signal at Hiland Ave. will be replaced with an updated traffic signal.
- A protected left-hand turn lane will be added to the north leg Hiland intersection.
- ADA accessible pedestrian curb ramps and crosswalks will be upgraded and installed at each intersection.
- Access and driveway safety improvements.
- Additional details about this project as it is funded for construction in 2028 or 2029.
