Important notice - ALERT

Eastbound lane work has been delayed to reduce the number of work zones in the area. Once a new construction year is selected for the eastbound lanes, this website will be updated.

Overview

Construction will involve milling off the existing surface of the roadway and then placing a new concrete overlay.

The new concrete overlay to the westbound lanes was completed in 2023. Originally work for the eastbound lanes was planned for 2024, but this portion of the project has been delayed to reduce the number of work zones in the area.

Impacts

The interstate will be reduced to a single lane in each direction with reduced speed limits in place. Traffic will be crossed over onto one side of the interstate while work occurs in the opposing direction.

Interstate 84 project area between mile post 201 and milepost 207.
