Register to volunteer alongside ITD crews in North Idaho for the region's annual highway spring cleanup event.

Join ITD crews along the U.S. Highway 95 corridor for a community litter cleanup event and help make a visible difference in your region. Participants must register online ahead of the event.

Volunteers will check in between 7 and 9 a.m. at ITD’s Athol shed (6303 E. Parks Road), receive safety gear and a brief orientation, and will be assigned to work crews along the corridor. Participants are welcome to stay for as long as they like; a couple of hours or the full day. Work will wrap up by 4 p.m.

ITD provides safety vests, trash bags, and safety instructions. Bring gloves, water, and weather-appropriate clothing. This event can count toward community service hours, and participants are encouraged to ask about ITD’s Adopt a Highway program for ongoing involvement.

Volunteers must be 16 or older. Volunteers aged 16 and 17 require a signed parental waiver. Registration is required.
