Idaho Transportation Department, in partnership with the Yes Idaho Donate Life Coalition is hosting an awareness event.
Please join the Yes Idaho Donate Life Coalition as we recognize ITD staff for their incredible work in educating Idahoans about organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Because of their ongoing efforts, 55% of people obtaining or renewing a driver’s license in Idaho last year chose to register as donors—giving hope to those in need. This is one of the highest rates in the nation!
Thanks to the generosity of those who have have given the gift of life, sight and improved mobility:
- 73 organ donors saved approximately 292 lives
- 351 cornea donors restored sight to about 702 people
- 191 tissue donors improved up to 14,325 lives
