An illustration of Idaho with District 3 highlighted.

Serving nearly half of Idaho’s population and maintaining 40 percent of the state’s lane miles, District 3 includes 10 southwest counties (Ada, Adams, Boise, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, Valley and Washington). The district also connects several of Idaho’s largest cities, including Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell, through major routes such as I-84, SH-21, SH-55 and U.S. 95.

The district office is in Boise located in Ada County, where Jason Brinkman is the District Engineer. Julie DeLorenzo, of Boise, has represented District 3 on the Idaho Transportation Board since March 2012.
