The ITIP contains Idaho’s planned transportation projects for the next seven years. The projects are based on traffic volumes, crash data, and public input. Each July, ITD holds an open comment period to gather feedback from Idahoans on what projects should be prioritized. Your feedback helps shape the ITIP before it is approved by the Idaho Transportation Board.

The current approved ITIP is the Fiscal Year 2026 – 2032 plan.
ITD is currently developing the ITIP for Fiscal Year 2026 following the guidance of the program update manual (PDF).
