Comments will inform the update to ITD’s Statewide Long-Range Transportation Plan, a federally required strategy document that is updated every five years and is used by the Idaho Transportation Board and planning staff as a guide to program future studies and projects.
ITD will host an open house next week in Coeur d'Alene to share an updated design for the future I-90, US-95 Interchange expansion. The public is invited to review the updated materials and provide their feedback about the designs.
Drivers should expect a multi-week closure of the I-90 eastbound off ramp at Cataldo as crews finish final work that will allow eastbound traffic to be shifted to the new bridge ahead of winter. ITD is hopeful that this work will be completed by Thanksgiving.
