HEYBURN— The eastbound on-ramp for Interstate 84 from State Highway 24 will close this weekend for repaving as part of the ongoing reconstruction of the Heyburn Interchange.
The Exit 211 eastbound on-ramp closure will be in place from6 p.m. Friday, July 11, through 9 p.m. Sunday, July 13, weather and other factors permitting. Drivers will be detoured to eastbound Exit 216 on-ramp. Click here for detour map. Note the Burley Interchange on- and off- ramps to westbound I-84 (Exit 208) closures that began July 7 for repaving will remain in place through Thursday, July 24.

Construction has been underway since 2024 and is expected to be complete in 2026 to update the Heyburn and Burley Interchanges to meet growing traffic demands and is funded as part of Idaho Governor Little’s Leading Idaho transportation funding initiative. The Leading Idaho initiative allows ITD to take a deliberate approach to advance large projects that will enhance safety, improve mobility, further strengthen Idaho’s economy, and positively impact the Magic Valley and communities across the state for years to come.
