The Idaho Transportation Department will begin work Monday on U.S. Highway 30 east of the Interstate 15 McCammon Interchange.

Crews will replace the asphalt road surface with concrete. The project will improve pavement conditions and durability and allow heavy loads and semi-trucks improved access to the businesses along the Interstate Oasis.

During construction, motorists should expect single-lane closures and reduced speed limits. Access to the businesses along the construction area will remain open.

Work is scheduled to be completed before the July 4 holiday weekend. For up-to-date traffic impacts, check out 511.idaho.gov. For more information on the project, go to the project website.
