District 3 maintains approximately 22,000 square miles of southwest Idaho and with more than 2,600 lane miles and nearly 400 bridges.

The seven-member Idaho Transportation Board meets once a month to oversee the operations of the Idaho Transportation Department.

The Aeronautics Division manages aircraft registrations, maintains over 30 backcountry airstrips, and promotes aviation safety in Idaho.

District 6 maintains just over 19,000 square miles of eastern Idaho, including 2,500 lane miles and nearly 350 bridges.

District 5 covers almost 9,500 square miles in southeastern Idaho and maintains 1,900 lane miles and 315 bridges.

District 4 is made up of 11,553 square miles and maintains 2,321 lane miles and 290 bridges.

District 2 covers just over 13,000 square miles of north-central Idaho and maintains 1,500 lane miles and 180 bridges.
