Major milestone – Week of March 9

Crews plan to open the newly completed third lane of I-84 between the South Jerome and Twin Falls interchanges (exits 168 and 173) the week of March 9!

All week, motorists can expect lane closures on I-84. Work is weather-dependent and may be delayed due to conditions.

Additional I-84 work near the Twin Falls Interchange

Crews will complete additional work that will require intermittent lane and ramp closures on I-84 near the Twin Falls Interchange through late 2026. Beginning the week of March 9, crews will:

  • Replace aging asphalt on I-84 with new concrete.
  • Re-stripe I-84 to tie the new third lane in with the loop westbound on-ramp.
