Overview
ITD is replacing the existing State Highway 55 Little Goose Creek bridge in Adams County near New Meadows.
The bridge has reached the end of its design life. The purpose for this replacement is to enhance the overall safety, mobility and needs of the traveling public. The intersection with Last Chance Road will be improved, and the shoulders will be widened.

State Highway 55: Little Goose Creek
The Idaho Transportation Department replaced the existing State Highway 55 Little Goose Creek bridge in Adams County near New Meadows.
The bridge had reached the end of its design life. The purpose for this replacement was to enhance the overall safety, mobility and needs of the traveling public.
This project included:
- Replacing the bridge
- Improving the approach at Last Chance Road
- Widening shoulders
