As a result of recent changes in transportation funding, this project is recommended to have its funding removed to prioritize other projects necessary to the operation and preservation of the transportation network. Comment July 1-31 on this project and others in the seven-year plan.
Overview
ITD is planning on widening US-30 from Yellowstone to Garrett Way to improve traffic capacity and flow.
What improvements are being proposed?
- Additional lane along US-30 (Gould St) to improve signal operations and mobility through the corridor
- Corridor-wide pedestrian facilities
- Stormwater collection
- Corridor-wide landscaping
Where are we in the process?
With preliminary design under way, the project team is conducting additional environmental scans and data gathering. The project team will also re-engage the public with additional outreach including public meetings, in-person meetings and online engagement.
