A new passing lane south of Ferdinand provides safer opportunities for passing for northbound drivers.


Overview

A new passing lane on US-95 is now in use.

Background

The new passing lane is 1.1 miles long and starts south of Ferdinand. It was constructed on the northbound side of US-95 between Windy Loop Road (mile post 260.3) and Lauer Crossing Road (mile post 264.2).

Construction

Construction started May 12, 2025 and was completed in August. Read more about the past impacts to traffic here.
