Eagle Interchange Repaving Update
Crews are repaving ramps at the Eagle Road Interchange (Exit 46) starting tonight (July 23)!
What to Expect:
- Eastbound off-ramp: Thursday, July 23 – Saturday, July 25.

- Eastbound loop on-ramp: Monday, July 27 – Wednesday, July 29

Work will take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the next several nights. Only one ramp will be closed at a time.
Repaving at the eastbound on-ramp and westbound off-ramp will be scheduled at a later date.
Overview
The Idaho Transportation Department will begin repaving multiple on- and off-ramps along I-84 and I-184 in the Treasure Valley.
Repaving is an extensive process that involves removing the old roadway and placing new pavement. This process addresses flaws in the roadways and restores the surface of the ramps.
ITD will pave ramps at the following interchanges:
- Franklin Road Interchange (Exit 1A) in Boise
- Eagle Road Interchange (Exit 46) in Meridian
- Ten Mile Interchange (Exit 42) in Meridian
- Garrity Interchange (Exit 38) in Nampa
Anticipated Traffic Impacts
Here’s what to expect:
- Work will begin the week of July 13 and is anticipated to be complete by mid-September.
- Most work will take place at night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
- Only one ramp will be closed at a time.
- Traffic will be detoured.
