For the first time, all special permits can be ordered and processed by customers on their own time schedule.

Go to: Truck Registration | Commercial Registration System (CRS) Application – This truck registration software (ICoVS) processes all commercial vehicle registration types (IRP, Full Fee, Temporary, Fuel) as well as hazardous material endorsements and waste permits. Any type of transaction can be initiated by an established customer while new customers need to do an initial set up for an IRP or Full Fee account.

As of July 2019, the Commercial Registration System (CRS) offers enhanced online services for the following credentials:
- International Registration Plan (IRP) – Registration type for interstate (crossing state lines) operation throughout the U.S. and Canada. Any type of request can be initiated online (renewals, changes, new vehicles, replacement credentials, etc.) except new applicants.
- Full Fee (Intrastate) – Registration type for intrastate registration (operation only in Idaho). Any type of request can be initiated online (renewals, changes, new vehicles, replacement credentials, etc.) except new applicants.
- Foreign Full Fee – Registration type for vehicles not based in Idaho, that operate in Idaho under a base state registration (non-IRP). Any type of request can be initiated online (renewals, changes, new vehicles, replacement credentials, etc.) except new applicants.
- Full Fee Fleet – Registration type for fleets of 25 or more vehicles, garaged in two or more counties in Idaho, that operate solely in Idaho. Any type of request can be initiated online (renewals, changes, new vehicles, replacement credentials, etc.) except new applicants.
- Annual Trailer – Registration type for trailers that will be registered annually (all trailers within an annual trailer fleet must expire at the same time). Any type of request can be initiated online (renewals, changes, new vehicles, replacement credentials, etc.) except new applicants.
- Permanent Trailer – Registration type for trailers that will be registered permanently (no expiration). Any type of request can be initiated online (changes, new vehicles, replacement credentials, etc.) except new applicants.
- Hazardous Materials Endorsements – Required when hauling hazardous materials in Idaho. Any type of request can be initiated online (renewals, changes, new vehicles, etc.) except new applicants.
- Hazardous Waste Permits – Required when hauling hazardous waste in Idaho. Any type of request can be initiated online (renewals, changes, new vehicles, etc.) except new applicants. You must also have a Hazardous Materials Endorsement when hauling hazardous waste in Idaho. Note, all Hazardous Waste Permits will expire December 31 of each year.
- Temporary Registration Permits – Required when operating an un-registered vehicle in Idaho.
- Temporary Fuel Permits – Required when operating an interstate vehicle in Idaho without a current IFTA (International Fuels Tax Agreement) license.
- Temporary Weight Increase Permits – Allows the temporary operation of a vehicle at a weight that exceeds the registered weight.
