The Idaho Transportation Department will be paving SH-14 near Elk City starting August 17.

The Idaho Transportation Department will begin construction on Aug. 17 and continue through the end of Sept. on State Highway 14 west of Elk City.

Crews will repair the pavement on SH-14 beginning near milepost 45 and continue east for four miles towards Elk City. Work will occur Monday through Friday between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. During construction, traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing vehicles through the work zone. Travelers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes during construction hours.

These pavement repairs are part of ITD’s ongoing effort to provide a smoother, safer ride for the traveling public on SH-14. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, watch for crews and check Idaho 511 before traveling for traffic impacts. Check the project webpage for more construction information.
