Motorists should expect traffic impacts on State Highway 55 beginning Monday, Oct. 12, through Thursday, Oct. 15, as crews continue safety improvements on the Fleming Creek Bridge south of Banks.
Work includes installing new signs, painting lane lines, and grinding rumble strips along SH-55. Flaggers will be reducing traffic to one lane beginning Monday during daylight hours while crews complete the work.
The improvements are part of the SH-55 Fleming Creek project and are intended to improve safety through the corridor. For more information about the project, or to sign up to receive updates, visit the project website at itd.idaho.gov/project/sh-55-fleming-creek/.
Motorists should plan ahead and allow extra time when traveling on SH-55. Drivers are encouraged to check 511.idaho.gov or the 511 mobile app for the latest updates on restrictions and delays.
