US-12: Valley View Drive to Kooskia Widening

Background

This project will widen the paved roadway and install shoulder barrier and make geometric improvements between MP 69.5 and 73.8. This will be accomplished by widening, constructing a full-width overlay and installing guardrail. In addition, the signs, delineation, and pipe culverts will be upgraded as needed as well as minor approach reconstruction and soft spot repairs. The result of this project will be a wider roadway on US Highway 12 that will provide the public with a safer and more comfortable passage through this section of highway.

Construction

Construction is slated to begin in 2031.
